For the second time in two years, Microsoft CEO Steve Ballmer last week played the patent infringement card against Linux and again set off a round of negative speculation and vendor clarifications.
Microsoft has NEVER been about technological innovation, just guerilla marketing and improving on the bullshit they’ve always had.
Supreme Commander will be in stores on the 20th… supposedly… massive RTS with huge scope.
So Vista is out… the pricing for the upgrades are reasonable but the pricing for the standalones are just insane. Total rip-off. Add to that the compatibility problems with lots of applications and games from XP. Is a little eye-candy worth it? If yer just a desktop app user, probably won’t [...]
